Started my weekend by watching some USAC and WOO action from Eldora Friday night, there was some awesome racing at the Big E, only drawback was we had to keep switching back and fourth between flo and dirtvision, not a big deal though.Saturday would find me behind my camera at New Egypt Speedway, what a beautiful Saturday, the Grosso`s really have New Egypt back to the early days, the vibe is back, this past Saturday was the largest crowd that I have seen in many years.There was alot of racing on the card so it was a long night but with the beautiful weather people didnt seem to mind.The car counts were very solid with I believe, 27 mods, 27 crates,20 four cylinders, 23 MASS sprints and four Wall Stadium Factory Stocks showed and ran a feature.The modified feature saw heartache for D.J. Hunt as he had the field covered till the last lap as mechanical gremlins reared there ugly heads.Danny Bouc had a great battle with Billy JR AND HE WOULD GET THE WIN.....i REALLY HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, NEW EGYPT IS REALLY HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, stop by on a Saturday and see for yourself....sorry caps button got stuck, peace out.
