Seems like there's more BS at and away from the track these days. Ya reach a point where you just think I'm investing way too much in something that isn't giving me pleasure.
It's a full time job running up front. There's not enough people willing to spend a couple nights a week doing the dirty work needed to run up front. Look at any victory lane photo. Often there's so many people posing that you can't see the car. How many of them are in the shop helping out on a hot Tuesday night ? It stops being fun when you spend 3 or 4 weeknights in the shop doing everything needed to run up front all by yourself. And then everyone shows up on race day to "help". Seen it and heard it.
