Oops... Not sure how I ended up with "300" in my list of Chevy's, and how I forgot "348." It's been over 20 years, and we still haven't gotten one response for that open Pruff Reeder's position.....  Funny thing is that my dad had a Ford pickup with a 300ci straight six. On another note, I think GM had a 402 (or was it a 401?) in the early 70's that I think was a cleaned bore on the 396... I remember looking at a 1971 Monte Carlo back in the late 70's that I was going to buy, and I think that is what it said on the little white EPA decal on the radiator support. I had never heard of it until then.
