The picture of Gary in victory lane is at Syracuse. It's the 77 big race that was run in April of 78. Very cold and track was actually frozen in spots from the winter. Elvin Felty (46) ran in the top five most of the day and even hung with Gary and Toby Tobias up front for a while. The blond holding the baby is Karen Balough holding oldest son Brian. Saddly they are both no longer with us.
