Brian Weaver Joins ARRA list of Researched Drivers…Another due shortly
Ringoes,NJ – Auto Racing Research Associates ….ARRA, are taking this Sunday to announce that they have added still another familiar name to their roster of researched drivers. Southern Tier New York driving star Brian Weaver tore up the local dirt tracks of Northern Pennsylvania and Southern New York for a number of years…establishing himself as one of the top stars of his time, accumulating a total of 151 career feature event wins in both the big block and small block modified divisions. Thanks to the research efforts of ARRA historian Bill Braga and assistance from ARRA President Fred Voorhees, another small part of Northeast dirt track modified racing history is secured.
With New York’s Five Mile Point and Thunder Mountain Speedways and Pennsylvania’s Penn Can Speedway accounting for the majority of his victories…he also claimed multiple wins at the Afton Speedway…he also claimed wins at seven other speedways including the big end of the season Octoberfest for modifieds at the Hagerstown Speedway back in 2003.
Now retired and watching his Son compete on the same tracks as he had in his glory years, Brian Weaver takes his rightful spot on the roster of career documented driver. Rick “Scooby” Laubach, The “Quaker Shaker” of Quakertown, PA is also going over his now researched and documented career stats and should be submitting it back and seeing it also join the ARRA website.
