I'm not a fan of the Roval, and I flew through the race via fast fordward in about 5 minutes, but ironically, the only part of the race I saw was Bowman bouncing over a curb, with the frontend lifting off the ground, landing, followed by slightly scraping the outside wall where they enter the speedway (I think in turn 1.)  Maybe he left part of the underside on the curb... Undecided   I'd look for something that's supposed to be on the car that weighed between 15 - 20lbs, and see if it 'aint there anymore.

I never thought of things at this level, but I know that Billy Pauch once mentioned the difference in weight of a new tire, versus a used up tire.  I don't think it'd be even more than 1lb per tire, but don't really know.... but something to think about when doing final calculations.

Not sure if the car is weighed with the driver in or out, but if weighed with driver in, that could be another 5 - 10lb's or more difference before/after the race.  Water bottles, cool suits, ???  Wear of brake pads, brake rotors, a handful of full windshield tear offs that get removed during the race.... A 1/2 lb here, and 1/2 lb here might start to add up.

Question:  What do they do when a car loses a whole fender, or inner fender, etc., and they tape things up so they can continue, does that car still have to make weight?  I don't know how much a front fender/inner fender weighs, but I think that could be a deal breaker too.
