Wasn't Fast, Wasn't Planned, But it was Fun  

Joe, looking at your image I can close my eyes and visualize my Saturday nights all through the 80s, my wife and I had season tickets, section G Row 11, seats 15-20, this image takes me back, some of the greatest times of my life were spent at this track, I still remember back in 83 or 84 someone asking me what would you do if they ever closed this place?…I laughed it off, I said look around, you see all these people, this place isn’t going anywhere, I sure was wrong, looking back I’d wished I attended more asphalt races there, I only went three times as I just couldn’t get into Flemington being asphalt…..All these years later and I have traveled to many speedways throughout our country and nothing compares to a Saturday night at Flemington Speedway.
