An early 70s Corvette that I had just finished cam, headers, intake and carb work..4 speed car and got 130 on speedo for a short while..On highway shhhh.. Then 1977 with my second Mustang at Syracuse end of backstretch with qualifying practice setup they said police hand held read 145mph...No ticket there.. 100 on water in a hot boat on Lake Norman and didnt like that a little bit...HtH
