.... I really wish I had gotten to Pleasantville more than I did. I was 11 years old when I went in 1972, and only got there a handful of times after that. What I can tell from these photos is why I liked it so much. Every car was unique. Something to like about most of them... maybe something a little wonkie about others, but either way, they caught your attention and formed a memory. Most were cool... (even the wonkie ones...) and some were way cool! Really captured the home built feel of the day and of the South Jersey ingenuity that had a whole different kind of feel than that of North Jersey..... (I'm not saying "better" or "worse"... just "different." )
