My Racing Related Christmas Memory is also an HO Slot Car Track, But it wasn't just a Track, Our Parents attached it to a 4 x 8 piece of Plywood Painted Green to represent Grass, My Dad worked for a Sheet Metal Company and Made Grandstands that He Painted Red and Placed on the Plywood surrounding the Track, He also made artificial Track Lighting, Lamp Posts, and Painted the Artificial Bulbs Yellow. Fortunately more than 50 Years Later, I still have it, Haven't look at it in Many Years and Probably in need of repairs, But We enjoyed it and Appreciated the work My Parents put into it.
