I had a friend who wasn't into racing at all in high school. I told him I could probably sneak him into Flemington by having him get in the trunk of my Monte Carlo before I pulled in and bought my ticket at the turn 1 gate. I got my ticket, found a spot outside of turns 1 & 2 and let him out of my trunk. As soon as his feet hit the ground some guy pulled up and told us to come with him. We both thought we were in big trouble but he took us to the office and just made us buy a ticket for my friend.

I fibbed about my age for a few years at EWS. My parents didn't have alot of extra money when I was in my early teens so I had to pay my own way in to the races.
I forget how much tickets were but I know they were noticeably cheaper if you were under a certain age. So I said I was that age for a few years. One time the lady selling tickets questioned me about how old I really was but she did give me the discounted price.
