Monadnock Speedway Gets Page on the ARRA Website!!
Ringoes,NJ – Still another speedway here in the Northeast will have its complete historay documented from this point forward, thanks to ARRA historian Nicky Teto. Teto is one of over forty auto racing historians, spread across the USA and into Canada, who have banded together to be a force in researching and documenting, hard, cold facts and statistics regarding a multitude of different auto racing subjects.
“ Nicky is one of my most ardent historians.” Fred mentioned as he began to get the news of the Monadnock additon to their site that now boasts over 600 subjects. “Nicky has his hands in lots of stuff up his way further up the Eastern coast. He is one of my upper Northeast paved modified vets. The Monadnock Speedway opened in 1971 and Nicky put his nose to the grindstone on this project and while, yes, there are areas of missing data….basically, I would say he has probably captured 97% of all of the events held there since Bill Brown took a gravel pit and converted it into a speedway. The track is located in Winchester, New Hampshire and is widely known by its nickname….”Mad Dog”.”
Fans wishing to view the newest track page on the ARRA website can check it out on the website at: https://sites.google.com/view/tracks-series-organizations/monadnock-speedway>
Auto Racing Research Associates is a growing group of over forty auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, track, racing series and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten. ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport. ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past. They are the official statistics information source of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and have been doing much of the research work for a number of years for the Northeast Dirt Modified Museum and Hall of Fame in Weedsport, NY.
