Until about 10 years ago (and maybe still today) Williams Grove would have the different wristbands being used that week hanging on the wall of the pit shack. We would then go into our stash of previously used ones (we had dozens), tape them on with a piece of scotch tape and walk right into the pits. From there, we would go into the backstretch grandstands and right back out through the Beer Hill gate where the guard would stamp our hand for re-entry. We would then pass the wristband on to the next person who would repeat the process. We never did this for regular shows, only for when the Outlaws were in town. We'd also done the handstamp transfer too. My buddy called it lick 'em and stick 'em.
