Thanks for the info Bruno93.  That would mean that both the Maverick bodied car (sportsman) and the Valiant bodied car (modified) existed at the same time, so the two cars in my post are different cars.

Looks like similar design on the front of the cage.  I'm sure there are others, but the only other car I remember with that much bend in the front uprights of the cage was the Bullock #76 Falcon driven by Gerald Chamberlain.
