Indianapolis 500 opening ceremonies  

I am probably going to get a lot of heat for this but I am going to say it anyway.  If a person is given the honor and privilege to perform the National Anthem, do just that and only that.  I am fed up with performers attempting to personalize and sometimes butcher the National Anthem.  Sing it as it supposed to be sung - original melody as written two and one-half centuries ago and with reverence, not personal style.
