Funny you mention that Kevin. Went to the F-1 race in 2003 and there were more foreigners there than Americans I bet. Camped with people from Norway that we met there and they said it was more affordable to fly to Indy, buy tickets and camp than to go to most F-1 races in Europe. Indy held probably 150k people where most races in Europe around 40K. I learned Norwegians are a bit crazy, at least this group was. Stayed in contact for a few years after that.
