Late 80's, Bev Thompson was writing "Broadsliding with Bev" column in AARN every week. After some people questioned her qualifications to write about sprint car racing, she spent 2 seasons racing a sprint car with URC. Got the real feel experience. Wrote that column until 2005, when Thompson Motorsports took a break from racing.
