Kenny Cranmer and I were waxing Don's # 66 modified at Daytona on race day , and the King walked by and said " DOIN' A NICE JOB , KEEP WAXIN' HER ,BOYS " !!!! pretty sure he liked the top half of the car , which was Petty blue as painted by Freeman Treadway, who had worked for Lee Petty !!!!!
