O.C. Fair Support Division Feature Stats Greatly Updated at ARRA!!

Ringoes,NJ – Auto Racing Research Associates are proud to announce that their continuing effort to increase their statistical coverage on their always growing motorsports statistical website, the famed Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY began seeing today, its portfolio increase with the addition of a significant portion of the history of the speedways support division feature events!

ARRA President explains. “I recently decided to take a look at the careers of Brothers Mike and Rich Ricci Jr. who were both so successful at both the Accord and Orange County Fair Speedways.” Fred began. “Our Accord stats were pretty complete. I had researched that great facility a few years ago. But, both Mike and Rich Jr. competed in the Small Block Division at Orange County, and up until now…ARRA didn’t have a weekly compilation of feature event winners for anything besides the headline Modified division.”

The lack of that information forced Voorhees to go back to the old faithful method of going through each weeks paper…week by week, page by page to seek out the wins for the Ricci brothers! “It reminded me of exactly why for years now, I have been somewhat aiming most of my research work on track results.” Fred went on. “Having more and more track results for all divisions at hand for quick and easy reference…it has made driver research projects so much easier. I didn’t have that for Orange County and it made for a lot of work to grab the Ricci’s undercard wins. Both had modified wins also, and we of course, already had them in our files.”

The work convinced the ARRA head to push on and begin to compile the feature results for ALL divisions that competed at O.C.! Starting back in the year of 1983, it marked the first full year that the Small Block Modified Division began as a stand alone division.

“It took around two months or so of intense, almost daily work on it. But now that I have it…..it will prove invaluable in our driver research projects in the future! Those that would like to check out the newest Orange County Fair Speedway stat file can find it on the Orange County Fair Speedway page on the ARRA site here: https://sites.google.com/view/tracks-organizations-series/home/orange-co-fair-speedway
