Scott back then our cars were on top of the track compared to todays cars..No aero, todays chassis and down force probably worth couple seconds.., not sure if tires are better today? Our motors in those days would run most of the season or longer because LESS BITE....That has made racing higher costs today.. My thoughts HtH
