Due to severe weather forecasts from the National Weather Service—including a high probability of severe thunderstorms and potential tornado activity, we are making the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow’s racing program. The Hall of Fame 100 is officially postponed to Saturday, August 1st and will be now be sponsored by the Friends of Shillelagh. This marks our seventh cancellation of the season, a devastating run of weather that has outpaced our actual race count. We know how much effort our teams, drivers, track staff, and legendary guests put into preparing for this weekend, and we share your deep frustration. Navigating the logistical ripple effects of this weather on NASCAR points and scheduling has now created a massive challenge, and unfortunately, many of our lost dates simply cannot be made up. Our primary focus tomorrow will be praying our fans, competitors, and staff stay safe and hopefully this weather won't be as bad as they're saying.Thank you for your incredible patience and for sticking with us through one of the most challenging weather seasons I've ever seen in all our years of racing. We are keeping our spirits up, teaming up with our friends from the Shillelagh Club for the new date, and pushing forward to finish this year strong, we have some big events coming. Weather permitting, next weekend is going to be absolutely packed with action at Wall Stadium.
