When time allows, a few of the 3 Wider's meet on Friday's to grab a late breakfast at Pat's Diner on Broad Street in Hamilton for a bite to eat, and to talk "racing", and good friend of The Vault Lenny Swider mentioned it to Billy Pauch hoping that he might join us some morning. After some discussion, and based on most folks availability, Lenny rounded us all up, and was able to switch the venue this past week a little to the north, and a day sooner and put together what turned out to be a really nice get together for a handful of folks (pretty big handful) on very short notice. 
Those who made it this time around (starting on the front left and working toward the back of the table clockwise) were John Sine, Nick Marcigiano, Earl Krause, Benny Shearer, Dale Snyder, Jack Kromer, Jeff Hardifer, Jim Bowen, Lenny Swider, (me), Roger Laureno, Scott Ely, Billy Pauch and John Philkill. Cheese steaks, pizza, turkey club's, and salads (for those looking to be on the healthy side of things) were enjoyed, along with some good racing conversation from our favorite days..... After lunch, many of us headed over to Billy's race shop where the stories continued a while longer... Great racing people.... great food. What a great way to enjoy a summer "lunch hour." Thank to all who attended... and thank you to Cafe Maria's on Rt 12 in Frenchtown for hosting the get together, and special thanks to Lenny for putting the whole thing together!
