I dunno Joe, we still watch every week. I complain how hokey it is now with scheduled cautions, thuggish driving and overtime seemingly every week now and my wife complains how boring it is these days, but we still watch. Hard for some to break decades-long habits I guess. We're going to Talladega in April, so yeah we still attend.
It's still a fun day at the track when we go to a Cup race Loud bright cars going really fast is usually good no matter what. I like to compare attending a NASCAR race now to people whod go to see the Beach Boys at Great Adventure back in the 80s. It's not the guys you remember from your youth, its not as good as it was in your younger days either but its nostalgic and for a few hours you can pretend you're 18 years old again
