It was brought to my attention that yesterday was our 19th year anniversary here for 3 Wide's Picture Vault.  Not sure how many years for our "Message Vault" as that started a few years later, but yup... I just checked... the first day that we went live for the main site (3 Wide's Picture Vault) was November 13th, 2002.  Do we have anyone out there that's been with us for all 19 years?

Lots of fun in those 19 years... Have gotten to meet a ton of people that I probably never would have.. And hopefully in some way the sight has been a way for all of us to acknowledge many of those who made the sport what it was for us, and what it will always be for us... a huge part of our growing up years... and memories that willl last a lifetime.

One more thing we've maybe accomplished along those 19 years, and something that remains very important to us here at The Vault is supporting the Matheny Christmas event.

I talked to Kevin who just recently received "Santa's List" and while he isn't saying much, I know that while we've heard from a few folks already (Thank you to those who have already contacted Kevin/RJC Charities) I'd like to see all of us do a better job in the next 2 weeks to make this year's event successful.

Sadly, we've lost some friends of The Vault who were very strong supporters of the event in years past... and while visits to our site remains high, with many spending more time on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc., folks are spread out in many different directions, and my concern is that the focus we should have here might be getting lost.

So here's an idea...

19 YEARS...

For every year that you've enjoyed visiting 3 Wide's Picture Vault and/or The Message Vault, please consider donating $1...

So... been visiting us for 5 years?.... a donation of $5 will be greatly appreciated.

10 years?

15 years?

19 years?  You get the idea!

Of course the above is just a suggestion.... Whatever you can do this year, as long as it is something, will help us to achieve our goal as "Friends of The Vault."

For some it may seem like Christmas is a long way off, but to make it all work, Kevin has already putting things in motion, so I ask that you take a minute today and join the other great racing folks and show our support for this year's event.

Thank you for your years of loyalty in visiting our site, and thank you in advance for taking the time to reach out to Kevin or RJC Charities (below) with your support for this year's event.
