Ringoes,NJ – ARRA, Auto Racing Research Associates…..a nationwide group of auto racing historians…are happy to announce still another track research project to their growing website. The Mid-West New York state third mile high banked dirt bullring known as the Woodhull Raceway has been operating since 1965, celebrating their 60th year of continued operation.
“It’s a pleasure to add the Woodhull Raceway to our roster of documented tracks here in the Northeast.” Claimed Fred Voorhees, the guilty party in spending the past handful of months researching and documenting the top three finishers of every division that ran there since opening day back on June 13th of 1965. “To help honor Woodhull’s sixtieth season of operation…we are happy to present the tracks history for its fans, and the entire racing community to view, use and enjoy…all the while….its history is continually updated now that it’s a part of our website.” Revealed Voorhees, the President of the organization of historians.
“At this point…I have researched a good handful of tracks scattered around the Northeast, and I truly think that the Woodhull Raceway is the most complete full track history I have done to this point!” the elated author of the stats. “Between Gater News and later, AARN…and a smattering of internet newspaper searching…it was a satisfying project due to the almost steady flow of information through the years.”
