We didnt buy tickets this year. Too many consecutive years of dust Bowl conditions. I went Saturday evening to hang with friends after the racing ended. I sat between the track and hwy. 29 and could see almost half the track thru gaps in the billboards. Clouds of dust covering the grandstands. I was glad we didnt drop a couple hundred dollars on tickets. Probably wont go next year either even though its 45 minutes from home. |
