Question for AF-IV and Larry:  Possibly the first time out?

This is the one that replaced the Pink #9 that became the first Gremlin #73.  I'm pretty sure that this one was later replaced by the Grant King #73.

Not to speak for Anthony and/or Larry, but this might be the maiden voyage for this particular car before Syracuse. I think the aero hood sides are the giveaway.

I don't remember if we tested the car at Middletown before Syracuse or if this is ES 200. As Joe said this was to be the car that replaced the Egge #9/73. Problem is it plain just didn't work half as good as expected. Never won a race.

AF-IV...  What was the color code that you guys came up with to paint the #73.  If I remember correctly, I think it was a Ford color maybe?  It's a pretty unique color.  Sometimes looks almost a little marroon/purple'ish.

It is a Ford color Joe. It was taken from my Uncles 1967 Ford Wagon. The Ford # is 490. They call it Burgandy. Pretty sure the Dupont # is 4490. We always used Dupont but sometimes cintari and sometimes Imron so the color varried at times.
