Entrance.

Looking at those photos, I find it pretty cool that Wall Stadium is the exact same configuration since it was built in 1950. Same entrance and exit, banking, layout of pits to track, pretty much every detail.

The Jack Hart 1 looks to have some pretty early light weight hubs and wide five wheels? Unless it's just a star painted onto the drums.

Mike's Maroon & White racing Team. I think that was Nancy Rettano's father. Nancy was the handicapper at Wall Stadium for a lonnnng time. Pretty sure she worked East Windsor too. She worked for us at Central Jersey Speedway with her daughter Laura. Very sweet people dedicated to Wall Stadium.

Wall was a tight knit family from the 70's into the 2000's. Well run by Tom O'Rorke, his wife Marion ran the office, Frank (who knows) Antonodies as scorer, Bill Sr and Bill Jr Bauman,  Sue O'Roarke Disbrow as assistant scorer,  and Nancy Rettano as handicapper, plus a contingent of others. Jennie and Tom Nicol owners.  All very nice people that cared for Wall Stadium and racing immensely.

Where's your maroon? and what is Ed pointing at? and was Mike Nancy's father? I remember she always sponsored all the big race lap money with "In Memory of Mike's maroon and white racing team."

Carl Blue checks in here quite often, so I'm sure when he sees this photo he'll have a few more details. I love these Charles Taylor photos from the early 60's...please keep 'em coming!

The 1st thing I remember following the wreck was awakening in the hospital with a concussion which sidelined me from racing for the next 2 weeks.

This was in the 60's before window nets and the left side of the open face Bell helmet I was wearing had the outer layer worn away from rubbing along the asphalt.

Fortunately I had no Drain Bamage, which some may question!

Carl
