Wall Stadium as a fan in the stands

got there about 6:20 paid 20 bucks went back to car as they were finishing qualfying heats.

Started 1st feature about 7:15 and ran thru them one after another after 5 minute victory lane stuff

Stayed for the first 4 features  TQ`s, Legends, sportsman and the non-stop modified 40 lapper

They were all good and left about 9ish ?  with factory stocks and fast 4 features still to go

Could have maybe more cars in features but I get it nowadays

Liked everything and will go back again before year is over

Bridgeport      The new configuration can't help but bring exciting racing,  the crowd was nice for a regular show.  The cars lined up behind grandstands is back again  The unsolvable 1st turn swale needs to get addressed. Alot of flats that take longer to change due to the backstretch exit and re-entrance to the track due to the distance to the pit area.  I will be back for sure

As a fan in the stands.

Liked -  To finally see a weekly show at the track in a few weeks. 1/4 midgets doing the Natioanl Athem. Excellent announcers. Seeing Anthoy Sesley, Kevin Davidson and Scott Riggelman wining their features.  Most features ran off with only 1-2 cautions.

Dis-liked - The idiot who tried to jump into the middle of a Selfie. Ended up falling, crashing onto the seats face fisrt. Then sat next to us looking like. He was going to throw up any minute or pass out.

Notes- The 2024 banner being paraded by the Grandstand. During Anthony's celebation. Had a interesting crowd response.

Seeing Mason Magee walk away from his hard crash into the turn one fence. During the Legend Feature.

Going back in a Month - Yes.

Went as a fan with brother Randy. Tuscarora 50 and Night Before on Friday. Great racing both nigh, Port seldom disappoints. Totally different trac each night, Saturday time trials were almost 2 seconds slower than Friday, but got fast as night progressed. Darryn Pittman won from the pole Friday. Cory Eliason took a nasty flip in the feature leaving the track at pit exit, became wedged in the fence, took a while to get him out, he was okay.
Saturday feature winner was 4 time defending champion Logan Wagner, took the lead from Lance Dewease (who started sixth) with 2 to go. Lance probably would've won, but developed an oil leak early in the first half (format is 25 laps with a break, then final 25. He couldn't see very well due to leak, which was repaired during break, but he ran out of tear offs about lap 10. Great race. Tuscarora 50 weekend is during the Juniata County Fair, so plenty of great food. Port Royal is the premier short track on the East Coast. Hope to return for WoO in October.

Spent Thur, Fri and Sat at Port Royal as well. Thur rain made the track so fast that it hurt the racing. Heartbreaking for the 69k on Saturday. They did everything right except for the oil leak. Thanks for the pictures, Rick. I know they are old school but I hope Lance carries a spare helmet to these big races from now on. A fresh helmet/tearoffs might have been the difference between 54,000 to win and 12,500 for second.

Port Royal is a wonderful track and the Tuscarora 50 is one of my favorites.

I watched it on Flo, great race. Lance got out of the car at the fuel stop and had to clean off his steering wheel it was leaking so bad. It looked like the engine was siezing up the last two laps, as he lost a lot of straightaway speed and got passed for the win.

Hey Kev    They fixed the leak (loose hose ) and refilled oil tank . These cars hit a brick wall when the leader catches the back of the pack  and with an oiled face shield , Lance couldn't attack the lappers like he usually does.
