Tri County Speedway.  Brasstown, N.C.

Was on vacation and stoped in for a race.  Dirt, small 1/3 mile.  Friendly atmosphere.  Ok now when it comes to the grandstand.  They need new boards to sit on.  Besides that, it was not bad.  Good crowd.  I would go back but a 5 hour ride is alot to ask.  But if in the area again yes I would go back.

Participant/official. An interesting dirt track sitting in a natural bowl. You can buy a drive-in ticket and tailgate all night while you watch the racing. The drive-in extends from turn one all the way to turn 3 and its full. Car counts looked decent; 19 crate late models, modifieds were in the teens. 11 sprint cars. Not sure about the other classes. Good surface. Little dust, great tire wear and multiple grooves. Late models and sprints were the first features which is nice and the entire show was done by 11:15. That's good for the Carolinas. Bathroom was clean enough. Not spotless but not scary either. Its not a showplace but I've seen much worse. Didnt like slowing the show down by time trialing almost every class. The track was soupy when we arrived and the show started late because they didnt have enough packer cars and racers apparently wont help pack a track down here. All in all I'd say this track gives you a good value for your entertainment dollar. Wont be returning this year. Not sure when their season ends.

I agree, great race ( without that Canadien)! Bridgeport is some of the most amazing racing you could see and it's not just a lap or two or a grand finish, it's like that every lap. I know you're in Ohio, and not sure if you've been there, but it's ten times better in person.

Great show on Flo, but they really need a roving camera at Bridgeport to cover the behind the grandstands line up and victory lane.

Kevin, your right about the roving camera. Flo at other tracks like Eldora and the Pa. tracks talk to tthe drivers while their still in the car or victory lane. That up close is nice, that mile away victory lane last nite not so much

Went to Bridgeport at the last minute (beautiful weather and a nursing school 'reunion' at our house) as a fan in the stands. A+. Started on time, good field of cars, track in great shape, ran modified feature first so show less than 4 hours and home by 11. As 3-Widers Tom B. and Rich D. know after seeing me there, I need my beauty sleep and gotta stay up for Eagles Cowboys tonight.. great show--mods behind grandstand a liability waiting to happen but really neat. Will go back early and often next year.

Wall as a fan in the stands. Bike night plus Modifieds, Sportsman, Factory Stock  (2 features ), Fast Fours, ATQMRA.

Liked - Good crowd on hand the races. Decent field of Factory Stocks and fast 4 cyclinders. Nice tribe for Bob Menschner and JJ Lane. The TQ's lining up on the front stretch before the feature event. With driver introductions. Show started on time. Good racing in the Fast Fours as the race came down to the wire. Also decent racing in the Factory Stocks. Decent racing in the first part of the Modified feature.

Dis-Liked - Throwing a yellow flag for to hard of racing during the modified feature! That was one of the worse calls in racing ! Telling the 69 & 31 to not race as hard ????? Yet know action was taken when the #17 Factory Stock comes out of the pits passes cars under yellow to hit the #82 ! Then lock both cars together for a 10 minute delay...   What about the #5 Fast Four driving under everybody and driving the # 10 into the fence causing a yellow. To many delays during the first 3 races.

Note Good to see the driver exited the car after it landed on its roof. Fans were lively during the early parts of the show. After the yellow mentioned above the exicetment died. For those who were not there, a few fans jumped up on the stands in front of the booth to express their displeasure. One with a R rated jester, before exiting the facility.

Left after the Modified Victory Lane Celebration. Show was dragged out by the point. Still left were 2 features.

Going back - Yes

Yes in November unless the shows include timed hot laps then may re-think it
