Very fan friendly... Only track I know of where you can't bring in a camera. I didn't see where any photos were being sold like in days in the past so I would not be impacting any potential sales. I don't really think a track photographer would care if someone took pics from the stands since you can't really take a great one from there.

I headed out after the TQs as I was heading back to NC very early Sunday. I wanted to see them on the inner track. When racing it was good, however, too many spins by the guys in the back of the pack.

It was great getting back to the track where I spent many a Saturday night.

thats ranks right up thier when at the turkey derby she pulled all the blankets up. including the tour teams who uses them to hlod spots for thier spotters. that alone was the most bonehead move ive seen in 50 plus years in this sport.

They don't really enforce the camera rule lately. Just a .02 is someone was selling the pictures they took. Plus broadcasting the race live on their personal site. Hence reason for ban.

A few years ago when JJ Lane and Jim Smith were track photographers a lady would come and shoot from the stands , she would then offer her pictures for sale via internet purchases, JJ and Jim had a photo stand set up where everyone could buy images. This photographer was not credentialed and did not shoot for any media source other then taking potential sales away from the track photographers.I understand people like to take pictures and thats fine, but many or most tracks have rules in place regarding photo sales, it also has to do with respect, by outsiders showing up and taking pictures for the sole purpose of selling them is totally undermining the tracks photographers.
