Jack, great pictures. They bring back memories of Island Dragway. I spent a lot of time there from 1969 to 1972 watching my dad and uncle run B/MP with a 1955 Chevy. Won a lot until a guy showed up with a really fast Corvette... It was pretty cool for a 12 to 14 year old to see all the cars that showed up! |
