THE TRACK WAS ON RT.516 ABOUT A MILE OR SO WEST OF RT.9 ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I AM TOLD THAT IT WAS TURNED INTO A SHOPPING CENTER. WHAT A SURPRISE! IT IS REALLY A SHAME, IN THE 60'S, I WITNESSED SOME GREAT RACING. SATURDAY NIGHT WALL STADIUM, SUNDAY NIGHT OLDBRIDGE. IT WAS GREAT RACING. THIS IS, I'M SURE WHY I LATER I GOT INTO THE SPORT.

Bob, I found this but it doesn't give and address. I believe the speedway was on Rt 516 across the road from the Browntown shopping center.

it's a housing development now. in from is a storage place if you go in there, there is a stretch of woods behind the development. There is still pieces of wood from the back of the pit fence. |

A good part of it is a storage facility now and a neighborhood. The track was roughly by Community Circle. I wonder if Victory Ct. was named because of the track being there. |

Go on www.historicaerials.com and look up Jean Court, Old Bridge, NJ and you can see aerial photos of the track between 1957 & 1979. |
