Yep. Second car is Billy D. My dad had a big hand in putting that coupe together. Paint was by noted custom car painter Chuck Jugans, and Glen did the lettering. The front end was a big change for Billy, but it worked. Won a couple of races at 5 Mile Point with it.

I worked for Chuck from 1975 to 1978. Any chance I worked on your car?

Mark,

Is this the #4 that Al Michalchuk first drove (prior to 1972), before he had his own #292?

Yes it was. After Lenny was done with this car, Phil Meisner drove it to two wins in 1970 at Flemington and Harmony respectively. Alex ran this car (still as a #4) a few times in '71 before destroying it on the backstretch at East Windsor.

Phil Meisner's win at Harmony Speedway was on September 12, 1970. He started second in the 20-lap limited sportsman feature, took the lead at the start and led wire-to-wire.  He was also a heat winner that evening.

Do you remember who started on the pole? It was fellow Trenton, NJ driver Pat McBride in the Tony K #11. I was there that night lending a hand to the #11 who finished 5th. I don't remember how I got in the pits as I was only 17 in 1970

My race results articles have Pat McBride finishing fourth in the feature.  He had finished second to Meisner in the 3rd heat that night.  In those days at Harmony it wasn't too difficult for underage folks like you and me to find ourselves pitside . . . .

I believe the third photo is the #32 sedan from Vineland owned by Mike Gagliardi owner of Nu-City Garage. I believe some of the drivers who drove that car were Henry Doerr and I read that Al Tasnady and Don Stives also drove that car. Who is the driver standing by the car, is that Don Stives?

Correct.  That's Don Stives, or "Don Down South" as he is known around here on the board.
