A week after I won my first Sportsman race at Middletown Wayne came over to where I was standing watching a heat. He told me he thought I did a nice job winning last weeks feature. I thought that was a classy move by him considering we had never met. It sure meant the world to this 21 year old.

Couldn't agree more. Buzzie, Wayne, David (only ones I know). All cut from the same mold.

It was only fitting that a really cool wheel man drive a really cool hot rod.  When voting for the coolest modified coupe on 3Wide, I was torn between Gil Hearne's #12 and Wayne's #3.  Scott Ely

Frank-  Your comment jarred my memory regarding the fact that Gil Hearne drove the Paul Blair #3 coupe a few times at East Windsor.  Never knew why, maybe it was early or late in the season and Wayne wasn't available.  Scott Ely
