Bob's actually on his way down after getting over Herm Versnel's RF tire. The others in the picture are Fred Clayton in the 66 and Norm Janwich coming into view.

Great photos from the best era of Saturday night racing (for me anyway).  That's the Furslew 2 Jr on the inside of Woody Johnson's 68 (Dave Hulse driving) and Charlie Kremer in the family owned 77 sedan right behind.  Not sure who was driving the 2 Jr at this point although I recall hearing somewhere that Tommie Elliott was in the 2 Jr sedan.      Scott Ely

Thanks, Steve re: pic #5. It makes more sense now. Prob broke the LF tie rod after impact, and Bob wisely has both hands off of the steering wheel to prevent broken wrist or broken arm

Great photos, all of them. The Hustak & Allison 71 could either be Jerry Allen or Jules Varanyak.

I love the cars from that era...fuel injected coupes and coaches!

Can't read the lettering on the side of the #47.   I could possibly identify the car & driver if I could read the lettering.
