I know that Weld cars won races at many tracks her in the Northeast. I also know that King cars did very well also. I know that the Ferraioulo 73 King car won at Nazareth but I don't recall any Weld built racers ever winning there. Did a Weld car ever win at Nazareth?

I checked the ARRA site and I think that Kevin Collins may have the only win by a Weld car at Nazareth in the Hoyt number 2 Fast Company car. Jimmy Horton won a race at Nazareth in the Statewide 3 but that was probably in a car if his own design. If not then it may be a second win by a Weld car at Nazareth.

I think Frankie Schneider possibly in '77, pretty sure he won with the Weld car at Middletown as well. Not sure though...

I wasn't sure about what car he won in in 1977. I was thinking that it was the Pinto but it certainly could have been the Pinto. That would make 3 possible wins for Weld carsat Nazareth?

If anybody won, it would've been in the Fast Company 2, the original Weld modified. Horton has no wins at Nazareth during the time he drove the Statewide Weld car, and Schneider's last win came in 1977 in his Kreitz chassis Pinto. I saw him finish second to Leroy Amy in the early eighties driving his Weld car, possibly his last career top five. Frankie has the distinction of driving both a Weld and King modified, without winning in either. Really cool that each car I just mentioned still exist.
