Just read in Area that my old friend Al, has passed away. Long time in a care facility in NY. My best time with Al was driving from NJ to Oswego Speedway, for the classic, long but short drive with Al. Talked the whole time about racing and history, Never realized Rt81 was built on the 6th (dry) finger lake.

When we arrived at Oswego, all I was about was my ear hurting from riding we Al!

RIP old friend!

Sad to hear this...Al always made Ken & I feel welcome whenever we were at Dover International.  May this gentle man rest in peace.

Same here Frank, always came and said hi when he visited Wall. Ran into him in Daytona, Dover, Nazareth, it seemed everywhere. His short conversations were so in depth it would amaze me.  Rest in peace my friend.
