Very sorry to hear of the passing of LeRoy Silvius.  There are many images in the Vault that were provided by LeRoy's son Jim, that LeRoy had taken as the cars signed in at Nazareth in the late 50's.  Really amazing images, and I know they brought a lot of enjoyment to those who visited the pages where they are featured.  We will always remember LeRoy through those great images that he captured and for sharing them with all of us.

My condolences to son Jim, and to the entire Silvius family.

RIP, Leroy. Even though I was around him a lot in my URC days, never really knew him well until years later when he was helping Aleia Geisler with her modified. He kept me company while I was lettering her car, kept trying to get me to drink some "Moxie", some kinda soda he liked(I never did).

Thank you Joe, and Rick for the kind words. Yup Rick, Dad liked his Moxie! Got me hooked on it back in the day. Still drink it got some in the frig.

The story behind the Moxie was back in the day at the shop in Macungie the kids used to open soda cans and only drink a little bit out of them and leave them sit all over the shop.

So Dad would buy Moxie and they wouldn't drink it because of the taste. Problem solved!
