These photos are of my Uncle Clyde Kelly's hot rods.  That's him in both photos.  Buck Kelly, Clyde's son, thinks the photo of the 141 was taken around 1952.  Clyde's brother, Ray Kelly drove the 141.  The photo of the # 4 was taken around 1958.  This hot rod was driven by Clyde's brother-in-law, Mel Ely.  I'm proud to add that my dad, Carl Ely lettered this car as well as the painting Pluto carrying the checkered flag.  The names just above the front fender are Buck, Dianne and Wade.  Dianne and Wade were Mel's kids.  Don't know why I didn't make the cut regarding "kids on the car".  Scott Ely

Going real well, been a lot of fun doing the theme stuff involved with it.  I will send you some pics when done.

Mark Tischler has the engine ready. BTW, all that talking that day at Tischler's shop, we forgot the Christmas gifts!  LOL  What a mess that turned into.  Mark gave the gifts to a girl, who is a nurse at Matheny,, to give to his student, she got Co vid pretty bad, so the gifts were quarenteened and the poor student did not get them til late January, all because we were B.S.ing so long. I felt terrible!
