A.J. Seipel had some cool race cars. I liked his coupe so much that I built a model of it when I was a kid. Later, A.J. really had a radically cool sedan with a huge injector box. I didn't know Seipel during his racing days, but I saw him at an NHRA drag race at Maple Grove several years ago. I wasn't 100% sure it was him, so I asked. When I told him that I built a model of his stock car when I was a kid, he had a big smile and his eyes lit up. That was a neat day talking with A.J. at the drag race.
