Thanks Howie.  When Gary walked over to check it out, he said, Howie Cronce! He had a fast hot rod at Syracuse one year. I remember hearing a story somewhere about you timing at Syracuse and it was almost dark and Toby making some comment about you. Did you ever hear that story? Fill us in please. Itook this picture at sunset and the sun hitting that candy apple gold. Thought you'd like it.

The number 2 car is Jim Fugel there is a you tube of the car being run at Fonda in the vintage class.Jim is now racing this class these days.He used to compete at Accord with some success back in the seventys.

I did a little "3Wide" research and found that there are 2 separate #2 coupes.  The Jimmy Fugel #2 coupe is in the 70s section on page 88 while Dave Gunther's #2 coupe is in the 70s section on page 6.  According to the comments made on each hot rod, it appears that both have been restored or replicas have been built.  Scott Ely
