I know we can only dream here, but what would you do with a billion dollars? After I helped my family and donated to a bunch of worthy charities, I'd buy the Lowes in Flemington and tear it down and rebuild Flemington Speedway. I'd probably leave Buffalo Wild wings there though and Delizia's pizza too. I'd build it to look old fashion. I'd only charge $ 10.00 a head to get in. Kids and 65 and over get in free. Free admission on your birthday ( with proof ). I'd have a wiskey bar in the turn 4 museum. Big screen TV'S all over so you don't miss any action. Oh! Mark Fusco chicken. Maybe a band playing at the beer garden. I'd always let any past driver in free and drive them around the track before each feature in the back of my fleet of pickups like they do in Nascar. The 50/50's would always be $5000.00. I'd have the biggest collection of the best vintage cars lined up under the grandstand. Oh boy, the ideas are endless.  TAG! YOU'RE IT! What would you do?

( I'd rebuild the old water tower too) lol.

My asphalt friends will get mad at me, but I would buy Wall Stadium, put 2 feet of gumball clay on top and run 4 nights a week, Tue Wed Thu and Fri rotating all of the top divisions. Would need to put another 15 row grandstand in up top of the current stands. I would build a new 1/4 m asphalt track between the back of the parking lot and Hurley's Pond Road for Sat nights. Qma track would remain intact. Sunday raindate for both tracks. $5 admission. $5G to win each feature. I can dream can't I?

Buy a giant RV and follow the Outlaws all year from Volusia in February to Charlotte in November. And everywhere in between

When my brother drove the 126 for Hyneman, Glenn told him once that he never worked so hard for so little money then when he had Susquehanna. Just sayin', lol.

It would likely cost more than $100,000,000 to do so.

A laudable goal however, I liked Flemington Speedway.

Buy all the houses were East Windsor Speedway was.  Rebuild the track to the exact shape it was, with the red clay, maybe a little more banking.  Run Friday nights and have the New Jersey State Points again with Bridgeport.  Big Blocks, fuel injection and no tire rules.  And pay Jack Kromer to be the official track photographer.

Probably different than the red clay Jones had in the early to mid 70's.

id build a 3/8/mile dirt track. Id commission a race car builder to build me 35 1937 Ford mix of coupes and sedans. Have them painted in throw back colors of Frankie, Johnny Roberts, Ray Hendrick Sonny Hutchins etc.

Race every Saturday night with fee admission to fans. Invite former drivers to race the cars

ill be sitting in the booth with a grin from ear to ear all night long.

id still have plenty of bucks left over for the family.

Probably so. Clay in the Carolinas seems crumbly, never builds any reasonable cushion and just turns shiny black almost immediately. And ya find it everywhere when you get home. It gets in every nook and cranny in your street vehicle

Took my car to Clary speedway (S.C.) a few years back. The next day when I washed it here at the house, it looked like I'd slautered a deer, & blood was running down the driveway. And the red liquid just kept coming. You're right that red clay gets eveywhere.

I don't know if it's exacly the same stuff of not, but I saw an episode of Dirty Jobs where a guy in Hawaii had a T Shirt/Clothing business where he used the red clay in Hawaii as the dye for his entire line of products.

Here's a link/more info:  https://reddirtmaui.com/collections/dirt-shirts
