I can still close my eyes and see the vapor trails coming off those wings. they were the fastest ive seen there. Anybody want to guess the speeds they were hitting? |

My Dad and I still talk about that race to this day how damn fast they were and seeing the vapor trails off the wings coming into turn 1!! Wish that track was still there, didn't go as often as I should of!! |

Weren't the Supers there for a free admission night when the track was first paved. I remember seeing the wings moving when they gased them up. That free night the place was mobbed!! |

You must confused about the free night .I paid twenty dollars for that first on asphalt.The free night was later in the season to try to draw fans.After that opening nobody came to the races.That free night had sportsmen,late models which Billy Pauch won and tq midgets. |
