My usual for the past 30 years...the best deal around...Port Royal for the Labor Day sprint show...great field for a daytime race...cheap ticket and THE BEST FOOD you can get with it being the Juniata Fair week...plus it's a great drive from the Lehigh Valley up there on Rt 322 by the river ! |

No racing, but Golden Age Flying Museum in Bethel Pa. 3 or 4 replica Fokker Triplanes with real LeRhone rotary, not radial engines, on Sunday with other historic aircraft. |

Indycars are on the road course in Portland OR. Friday practice at 5:30 on Peacock; Saturday's activities on Peacock are practice at 12:00, qualifying at 3:05 and final practice at 7:15; Sunday's race coverage is on NBC starting at 3:00. |

Grandview Saturday night, the Diseman and I at the Coalcracker on Sunday night. Rich and I were talking last night saying that if it was 20 years ago, we'd be at Big D on Friday for the coalcracker, Gview on Saturday, and Penn National on Sunday for the LV 100....he even went as far as to suggest that perhaps a trip to Syracuse Sunday night after the LV 100 for Monday's race wouldn't be out of the question. |
