Here's another batch of photos that belonged to my mom, Ruth Ely.  Photo #1 is of Tony K's #11 in line at Windsor in Sept 1973.  The 2nd photo is of the Middletown HS band at OCFS in Oct 1973.  I'm assuming this could have been the 1973 Eastern States 200.  The 3rd photo is of me loading up Chic Ronan's #35 in 1965.  This hot rod was powered by a 312 cu. in. Ford.  Photo #4 is off myself and another guy (name I can't remember) pushing Jackie Moschera's S-1 back to the trailer to be loaded for Windsor action.  This sedan was originally Bobby Rosell's red #4.  The 5th photo, although not racing related is of my dad, Carl knelling in front a cool convertible with his dog.  The year was 1941 with my dad being 23 in this photo.   My mom took all of these photos except for the last one of my dad and the convertible.  This photo was probably taken by one of his 8 brothers or sisters.  I own all of these photos. The car in the last photo is a 1934 Chevrolet Master Deluxe (DA) roadster.  The fender skirts were one of many accessories availabe in 1934.

I owned a 1934 Master DA Sport Sedan for over 40 years.  Restored it myself.  I am a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and quite famiiar with mid 1930s Chevys.

Kev-  I can't recall the location of where the photo of Jackie Moschera's S-1 was taken.  Jackie keep his hot rods at (Augie, his dad) Moschera's Auto Body which was located on Lakewood Rd. (Rt. 528) on the outskirts of the town of New Egypt.  I don't recall Augie having a lot of junk cars behind his shop.  Since this photo was taken in 1966, I'm gonna say time has taken its toll on my memory.  Although it never was good.  Scott Ely

Looks like more cars in the Drive In section. Probably more peole there, than in the entire Grand Stand now a days. Execpt maybe the Big shows like Estates Weekend.
