Going to the races in person? Watching on Flo/other? I'll DVR the trucks, Xfinity and cup race. Will check out a few replays on Flo. (Anybody watch the sprint car feature from Keller Speedway in Ca from last week? - What a race! I've become a fan of that group of tracks out near Fresno/Tulare, and the drivers that race there. On Saturday, I'll be at Pumpkin Run. I'll have my 86 Buick Regal parked somewhere in there, and plan on roaming around the place during the early part of the day, and being up by the museum buildings the rest of the time.... If you're looking for me, check in with the folks at GSVSCC. Always plenty to see at Harry's!

Heading to the Charlotte Dirt Track on Saturday. I dont plan on going to the races though, I'm going to hang out with friends in the campground after the races. I've been to quite a few World Finals and the past several years have been way too dusty. So I'm skipping it this year. But I don't see these friends often enough so I'll help them keep the fire going, have some laughs and adult beverages. I'll stay over and go home in the morning. The wife said "Have fun" so I got that going for me. I'll be home in time to watch what will probably be an underwhelming NASCAR finale. |

Hopefully taking my modern stock to the Pumpkin Run listening to the Philadelphia sports talk radio on the way down Saturday. Go Phiillies and Eagles. May go to Bridgeport on Sunday and watch some NASCAR this weekend. |

Just a follow up...$17 to get in...large crowd ...lots of good seating... Lots of spins , etc. in the 600's..I think this track is too big for them, after watching them at Kutztown.. I really went to see the 00 race, but he got taken out in a crash on lap3...David didn't do much either... Top 4-5 in mods put on a good show...Sound system fair... |
