R.I.P. Chic . Condolences to his family & friends . I got to know Chic when he purchased a B&K chassis while I worked there . He had a great personality !! |

Chic was a Super Hero to me. My first race ever was at Pleasantville to see Chic Run. He allowed me to pressure wash the car on Saturday afternoons in the mid 70's. I felt like I was part of the team. His smile and personality were both infectious. I recently ran into Chic at the hardware store. He gave me a big hug. He said I love ya brother. I love you too Chic and I will always miss you. Tom

Chic was a favorite of almost everybody, and that included my dad. There was a period of time where I was in school up in north Jersey and had to stay up there over the weekend because I also worked up there, so my dad would go to East Windsor by himself. When I caught up with him on Saturday/Sunday, he'd always give me the update on who won, and on how Chic did. Seemed for a while it was the same report as Chic put together quite a few feature wins in the little yellow #7A at EWS there for a while. I am very sorry to hear of Chic's passing. My sincere condolences go out to the many fans, friends and to the Cossaboone Family. |
