HEY,JEFF --thanks for posting !! Great early days of stock car racing stories  --the guys  fighting ,all probably went drinking and  to the diner together after it was all said and done !!

That paterson bunch (pappy hough & co.)--it  musta been a pisser to be on their pit crews !!

my uncle , who used to take me to wall when i was a kid, was from paterson ,and remembered "gasoline alley" & Hinchcliff stadium midget races when he was a young man ,just out of the marines in wwII , and becoming a paterson police officer ,

he got to watch the races for free !!
