herb passed away 12/ 27/2022.  he worked the arts towing service wrecker  for over 22 years at flemington speedway. he also was the machinest at national auto parts for 42 years. i remember durning the racing season  every monday morning there would be a pile of front axles next to the shop door for him to straghtrn out in his press. its funny what you think about. herb was 82 . RIP Herbie

Herb was always good to me for my race engine machine needs as well as other jobs. He was a good guy.

My first job was at Natioal Auto Parts...1965 I was 17.. It was John Salasko (owner), Herb in machine shop and parts counter. and I did counter, phones, deliver parts, and Herb showed me how to mix paint for the body shops..RIP Herb...
